Because You Shouldn’t Have to Do It All

For a long time, I felt like I was constantly choosing between being there for my family and being successful at work.

I was working a busy job running the online department for a retail brand. I loved what I did, but the demands of the job meant long hours, especially during the holidays. Christmas was always the busiest time of year, and instead of being able to slow down and enjoy that special time with my family, I was often working.

My husband’s job also keeps him busy and often takes him away from home, so there was already a lot that fell on my shoulders at home. Trying to balance everything while working long hours became harder and harder.

And while I was working hard to help provide for my family, I was also missing moments that I can never get back.

As a mom, that was a hard realization.

I wanted to be the mom who could volunteer at school, be there for the important moments, take my son on an adventure on a random Tuesday, and simply be present.

But I also wanted to contribute financially and have a career I was proud of.

I didn't want to have to choose anymore.

So I created The Virtual RedHead.

I built a business that gives me the flexibility to work, grow, and use the skills I've spent years developing while still being there for the people who matter most.

And now, I get to help other busy business owners do something similar in their own way: create more space in their lives by taking the tasks that are pulling them away from what matters most off their plate.

Because I know what it feels like to have too much on your plate.

And I know how much it can mean when someone steps in and helps carry some of it.
